NPP’s Ayikoi Otoo loses Krowor, refuses to concede

Former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Ayikoi Otoo has refused to concede having lost the Krowor constituency in the Greater Accra region.

The refusal led to delays in the declaration of the results at the collating centre.

Joy News’ Cyrus de-Graft Johnson reports hundreds of party youth had converged on the main Nungua road leading to some traffic build-up.

According to de-graft Johnson, Ayikoi Otoo stormed out of the collating center having felt shortchanged.

It’s unclear what the former Attorney General is up to, but the EC maintains that a candidate’s refusal to sign the collated results does not invalidate it.
