NPP Youth urged to be committed to the Party

Madam Garbiana Abelko Bugri, a parliamentary aspirant of the New Patriotic Party (NPP ) in the Bawku central constituency during the last election, has called on the Bawku Central Youth Wing of the party to stay united to win votes for victory in the 2016 general elections.

Madam Bugri said being committed to one another would foster unity for the development of the party and bring the party back to power.

She stated that unity was the surest way the party could be brought back to power because it would create many platforms that would allow party members to understand one another and see each other as one people fighting for a common goal.

Madam Bugri made the call at the weekend during a general cleanup exercise in the municipality organized by the Bawku Central NPP youth wing to guarantee its commitment to keeping the constituency clean.

She spoke about the hardship Ghanaians were going through and called on the citizenry, especially the youths, to bring the NPP back to power in the upcoming general elections.

Mr. Nurudeen Gumah, the Bawku Central Constituency Youth Communications Director, said the exercise was aimed at promoting environmental cleanness which was essential for human health.

He said as the rain sets in, there was the need to de-silt gutters and other waterways to improve on the drainage systems to avoid flooding in the area.

Mr. Gumah said the youth was the driving force for national development and that there would be the need for them to look for a development oriented government that would help them grow as productive human resource for the development of the country.

Mr. Jacob Zens Haruna, Bawku Central Constituency Youth Organizer of the party called on the people to take their health needs seriously by keeping their environment clean.

The participants cleaned the Presbyterian Hospital area, the Bawku Judicial Service premises, the Bawku Police Station, the Bawku Central Market area, the Municipal Assembly Administration Block, de-silted gutters and cleared weeds along the principal streets of the town.
