NPP youth speaks for outgoing DCE

Aworowa (B/A), April 4, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Youth of Techiman North Constituency have called on President John Agyekum Kufour to consider re-nominating Mr. Isaac Osei-Antwi as the Chief Executive of the Municipality to enable him to continue with his good works and “able leadership roles” so as to move Techiman forward. This was contained in a press statement signed by three leaders of the Party in the Constituency. They are Mr Stephen Owusu-Adjei, Constituency Youth Chairman, Mr Hayford Adu-Boahen, Secretary and Samuel Mr Adjei-Fosu, the Organizer.

They described Mr. Osei-Antwi as very approachable and that he is a man who is always ready to bring people together, irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic lines.

The Chief Executive is also said to be very accommodating and impartial and always ready to resolve conflicts among people to ensure that there is peace and understanding in all the communities of the Techiman Municipality.

The statement expressed grave concern about how some citizens of Techiman and NPP supporters had been accusing Mr. Osei-Antwi as contributing to the defeat of the party in the last Parliamentary and Presidential elections.

Rather, he did everything he could to win the two seats for the party, only that the opposition also managed to conquer him, it held.
