A leading member of opposition People National Convention, (PNC), Mr. Charles Kofi Wayo, has described a functionary of the ruling New Patriotic Party who insulted him to the effect that he amounted to comic relief as brainless.
Wayo said people like Mr. Isaac Asiamah, the national youth secretary are some of the leaders in this country who have not benefited from their education. ?Some of the leaders of this country have been to school but have no education or again they have a lot of education but are rather brainless or brain dead with the vision to lead this country to any success, he said. He said that no educated person will describe his lamentations about people dying in the hospitals, people hungry and the youth unemployed as comedy and comic relief. ?Such a person is either brainless, brain dead or is better not to being educated at all?, Wayo lashed back.
The former NPP member was reacting to the national youth secretary of NPP, Mr. Isaac Asiamah who said Mr. Kofi Wayo and the leader of the great consolidated popular party, Mr. Dan Lartey are comedians, who are there only to provide comic relief to the people of this country.
