The Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Anthony Karbo has resigned from his post in order to contest the newly created Lawra constituency in the Upper West region.
Anthony Karbo is reported to have resigned from his position on Thursday October 4, and successfully went through vetting on Tuesday October 9.
Mr. Karbo would compete for the seat against one-time party regional secretary Stephen Koo Ngmen.
The NPP who strongly objected to the creation of the new constituencies on Tuesday vetted parliamentary aspirants after Parliament passed the CI 78 which gave legal backing and paved the way for the new 45 constituencies.
