NPP will capture New Edubiase constituency- Dorpenyoh

New Edubiase (Ash), Sept. 1, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) would capture the New Edubiase Parliamentary seat in Ashanti in the December elections, Mr Francis Dorpenyoh, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area has said.

“Our message is that we are going to win at least 62 per cent of votes in the constituency”, he said.

Mr Dorpenyoh, who was speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview at New Edubiase on Tuesday, said the people’s confidence in the NPP was growing very fast in the constituency.

He said in the past, the party was not having polling station executives in most of the polling stations but now the situation had changed.

“This time round all the 89 polling stations have polling station executives”, he said.

He advised Party members and supporters to be tolerant and to avoid attacking personalities during the campaign. “We must get additional votes from outside the NPP camp to enable us to win and this can be achieved through tolerance and peaceful co-existence”, he said.
