NPP warns supporters against Adomi Bridge seizure

The Eastern Regional branch of the New Patriotic Party has cautioned aggrieved party youth against carrying out a threat to take over the Adomi Bridge.

Some NPP youth in Asuogyaman have given workers on the bridge up to January 7 to vacate the toll booths.

It’s the latest facility the NPP youth intend taking over following Nana Addo’s victory in last week’s presidential elections.

Asuogyaman Constituency secretary of the NPP, Eric Boadu told Starr News the party will not shield any supporter who seizes a state facility.

“We have warned our supporters not to engage in any act of violence. We will not allow them to go there in the first place to take over the bridge and should anyone fall foul of the law will be dealt with by the Police”.
