The NPP UK comunication team is deeply shocked to learn of the sudden death of President
John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills,President of the Republic, leader and Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress.President Mills we are informed passed away at the 37 military hospital in Accra on Tuesday afternoon. Our thoughts now are with his wife Mrs Ernestina Naadu Mills, the entire Mills family, and our brothers and sisters in the National Democratic Congress.
We thank our Radio and Television stations in the UK for their response,their humility and their respect in changing their Radio and TV schedules to honour the President. It is a testament of their loyalty and patriotism for mother Ghana.
We call for sober reflection ,deep thinking and compassion. All Ghanaians irrespective of political allegiance must stand together during this trying and testing period.We pledge to respect the memory of the late President with dignity and decorum and will support and participate in all Radio ,TV and Web programmes paying tribute to his time as President of Ghana .
May God keep his soul and spirit in perfect peace.
