NPP to train 100,000 party agents

Sawaba (B/A) May 3, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will train 100,000 party agents throughout the country by July this year to represent the party at all the polling centres in the 2004 December Elections.

Mr Dan Botwe, General Secretary, announced this at a meeting with the party’s polling station personnel at Sawaba in the Atebubu North Constituency.

He advised NPP constituency executives to plan towards the party’s electioneering campaign to the December elections.

Mr Botwe said the so-called “three-and-a-half years worst performance of NPP”, as labelled by the opposition parties “is far better than the 20 years of National Democratic Congress (NDC) regime”. At a forum, the people appealed to the government to assist them to complete the construction of a Post Office in the town.
