NPP to lose 4 seats in G. Accra

All the political parties are expected to try and win a seat to break the dominance of the two main political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In the 2004 parliamentary elections, the NPP won 16 seats, and the NDC – 11 seats in Greater Accra.

Opinion polls conducted by The Daily Dispatch in the region indicates the probability of the NPP losing four seats to the NDC – Adenta, Krowor, Ledzokuku and Trobu/Amasaman.

Two other seats were too close to call, the NPP’s Klottey Korle and the NDC’s Odododiodoo.
