NPP Supporters Welcome JAK

Hundreds of New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters last Saturday thronged the Kotoka International Airport, amidst cheering, to welcome President John Kufuor back home. Clad in party paraphernalia, the supporters yelled ?dada, o daddy, asie ho, asie ho, to express appreciation to the President for his wonderful and glorious performance at the G-8 summit as well as other international engagements.

President Kufuor left Accra on Sunday July 3, 2005 to attend the African Union (AU) Summit in Sirte, Libya, the G-8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland and paid an official visit to Jamaica subsequently.
