NPP supporters must believe we can win

A member of the communication team of the NPP, Michael Ampong, has stated that upon the presentation made by Dr. Bawumia at the Supreme Court, Ghanaians, especially NPP members, must begin to have confidence that the party’s leaders are credible to bring the matter before the Supreme Court to an expected end.

He called on Ghanaians to applaud the effort of Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP for the fact that they did not incite their people to resort to violence after they learnt of the evidence involved in the case.

Speaking on Okay FM, he advised that the issue before the Supreme Court should not be narrowed to the two main political parties; adding that Ghanaians must join in celebration that the country is still intact after many areas of the polling stations have been highlighted to have been contaminated with irregularities and malpractices in the 2012 elections.

In view of this presentation, he said that there should not be more propaganda on the issue before the Supreme Court, saying that the stage of propaganda is over.

He speculated that from the look of things, “it has become obvious that President Mahama will step down as President”.

He stressed that the legitimacy of the President is being challenged with strong evidence and according to him, after listening to the case in court; the NDC must know that the NPP is not buying time to calm its supporters and sympathisers as it has been explained to the public.
