NPP Says Death Of Alliance Does Not Preclude Cooperation

Accra (Greater Accra) 11 Feb. ’98 While electricity consumers were struggling with electric power, the NPP was also grappling with alleged power divisions within their ranks. In a statement issued by the Party in Accra, a copy of which has been obtained by GRi, the NPP said the decision not to form an alliance with any political party for the year 2000 polls, does not preclude cooperation in parliament and other fora with parties that share their objectives.
