NPP rubbishes Mallam’s claim over Akuffo-Addo

The New Patriotic Party has dismissed claims and spiritual prophesies by a Kumasi based spiritualist Sheik Mallam Musa that Nana Akufo-Addo can never become a president in Ghana.

The party has described the prophesy as complete falsehood.

The Tuesday 18th October, 2011 edition of the Al-Hajj newspaper, edited by an NDC sympathizer Alhaji Iddrisu, published that a renowned spiritualist in Kumasi, Mallam Sheik Musa had prophesied that Nana Akufo- Addo has not been spiritually destined to lead this nation for the 2012 elections.

The newspaper quoted the Mallam as saying that the likes of Alan Kyeremateng and Kennedy Agyapong are better placed and have spiritual backing of God to lead this nation.

He is reported to have said that the fact that Nana Akufo- Addo has been in the NPP for a long time does not guarantee that he can lead the NPP to victory in next year’s election, suggesting that Nana Akufo- Addo should rather play an advisory role in the NPP.

But the National Organizer for the NPP, Moctar Bamba challenged Sheik Mallam Musa over his prophecy and said he (Moctar) also does spiritual consultations and can stick his neck out that Nana Akufo- Addo will win 2012 elections.
