The Brong-Ahafo Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwadwo Yeboah-Fordjour on Sunday retained his position unopposed at the Regional Delegates’ Congress of the party held in Sunyani. Two other contestants for the position, Nana Obiri Boahen, a Sunyani Lawyer and Nana Osei Yaw Barimah, had earlier on Thursday announced their withdrawal from the race.
