NPP race: Kufuor did nothing for me; I’m for Akufo-Addo

Hajia Fati Amadu, one of the 11 members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who are contesting for the National Vice-Chairperson slots has declared, “I am for Akufo-Addo, not Kufuor or anyone else.”

Hajia Amadu made this declaration when the ‘Daily Dispatch’ placed her on the list of those belonging to the ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor faction. She came to our office, very angry that we dared put her in the Kufuor faction, but not Akufo-Addo faction.

She continued, amidst shouts, “why? You want to end my political career? But for Akufo-Addo, I would be begging on the streets. What did Kufuor do for me during his eight years as president? Me Kufuor faction? Never!”
