As the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gears up for its upcoming presidential primaries, the campaign team of Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has expressed strong optimism about a decisive victory in the Western North Region, projecting a 70/30 margin in favour of their candidate.
According to the team’s spokesperson, Mr. Amstrong Richard, the overwhelming support from delegates across the region reflects a growing desire for transformational leadership, honesty, and a candidate who represents the true voice of the grassroots.
Speaking in an interview with the Daily Times, Mr. Amstrong Richard, who serves as the Western North Regional Spokesperson for Ken2028, said Hon. Ken Agyapong’s track record, dedication to national development, and strong advocacy for fairness and discipline within the NPP have endeared him to delegates across all nine constituencies in the region.
He explained that the team has embarked on extensive engagements with polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and constituency officers, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive in favour of the Assin Central legislator.
> “The message of Ken Agyapong has resonated deeply with the grassroots. People are yearning for truth, accountability, and bold leadership. The delegates have seen his commitment to the party, and they believe he represents the best hope for victory in 2028,”

He further revealed that out of the nine constituencies in the Western North Region, six have already joined the Ken Agyapong campaign train, while the remaining three are “warming up to get Kennected.”
Mr. Amstrong added that the Western North Region, which has historically played a strategic role in the NPP’s internal politics, is now solidly behind the Assin Central MP, who has consistently demonstrated loyalty, commitment, and remarkable contributions to the party’s success over the years.
He also noted that the team’s campaign strategy is rooted in humility, hard work, and unity, adding that they are focused on issue-based campaigning rather than personal attacks.
“We believe in running a clean campaign. Our focus is on what Ken Agyapong stands for integrity, hard work, and the welfare of the ordinary Ghanaian,” Mr. Amstrong emphasized.
Mr. Amstrong pleaded with the national campaign team to provide timely logistics to the constituency level for onward distribution and effective campaigning ahead of the primaries.
He revealed that, as part of his regional role, he has formed an Electoral Communications Team that will move from house to house to campaign vigorously for Hon. Ken Agyapong.
He added that in Bibiani, there is a strong and vibrant campaign team in place, stressing that all the party stalwarts in the area are fully geared up to support their candidate.
Mr. Amstrong further stated that Ken Agyapong’s message of job creation, empowerment, and discipline continues to resonate strongly with delegates, and he is confident that these themes will secure their endorsement.
He assured that the Ken Anti-Region Campaign Team will also play its part to ensure victory across all constituencies, maintaining a united and consistent approach to reaching every delegate.
Responding to a recent survey which placed Ken Agyapong ahead of all other candidates in the Western North Region, Mr. Amstrong touted the team’s achievements and said they hold the results in high esteem, pledging to work harder to transform the projection into a reality.
He further revealed that several influential party leaders and delegates in the Western North have pledged their commitment to ensuring Ken Agyapong emerges victorious, describing him as the “people’s candidate” whose leadership will restore confidence and strengthen the party’s grassroots base.
Touching on the upcoming internal polls, Mr. Amstrong appealed to delegates to vote according to their conscience and in the interest of the NPP’s future, stressing that only a unifying and fearless leader can guarantee the party’s success in the 2028 general elections.
Mr. Amstrong Richard, Western North Regional Spokesperson for Ken2028, concluded that the team’s message of truth, discipline, and development has taken deep root in the region, setting the stage for a historic victory.
