NPP Prez Aspirant Meets Offinsoman Union in Virginia

Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, MP for Offinso-north constituency and NPP presidential aspirant candidate, met the Offinsoman Union in Virginia on November 4, 2007 and apprised them of the events at home and also appealed to them to be a part in their own little way in solving the problems that is faced by the people of Offinso in order to ensure sustainable economic growth in the district and to make it a more desirable place to live. Offinso is one of the largest districts in the country which is lacking progress for some time now. He appealed to them to look back and figure out in a small way how each of them can help to build the district. He made his intensions clear on how he could impact positive changes in Offinso and Ghana as a whole, if he becomes president. For the well-being and quality of life of the district?s inhabitants, there is an urgent need to create and retain more jobs to ensure growth in income and tax base, and improve the infrastructure facilities.
