NPP Pick Officers At Kwabre

Mamponteng (Ash), Aug 15, – Nana Asante Frimpong, New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Kwabre, has appealed to members of the party not rpt not to be complacent with the massive support it enjoys in the Ashanti region. They should rather work harder to ensure that total victory is achieved for the party in the 2000 general elections. Nana Frimpong was addressing members of the party after a constituency executives election held at Mamponteng in the Kwabre District on Wednesday. The elections, supervised by regional officials of the NPP, voted Mr R. Frimpong-Manso as chairman, Mr Opoku Agyeman, Secretary, and Mr Assim Boakye as Treasurer. The others were Mr A. K. Opoku, Constituency Organizer, Miss Mary Nantwi, Women Organizer, and Mr Addae Bonsu, Youth Organizer. Alhaji Mohammed Zakaria was elected to serve on the Regional Executive while Mr A. K. Okrah and Mr R. K. Opoku, together with the chairman and secretary, were elected to represent the constituency at the regional delegates conference.
