NPP only good at talking – Fifi Kwetey

The Minister of Transport Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has said the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has always delivered on its promises made to the electorate unlike its opponents, the New Patriotic Party (NPP)

He alleges the NPP is only good at talking with no action yet, expect Ghanaians to mandate them to govern this country which should not be allowed to happen.

Addressing party supporters at NDC 2016 Manifesto launch at the Sunyani Coronation Park, the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ketu South constituency said the NPP had more money than the first NDC government but failed to do more.

“The first NDC government was able to build 7 polytechnics, universities and other institutions but the NPP under Kufuor with all the monies they got were not able to do that. Not even a chamber and hall was [Kufuor’s government] able to complete under housing”, he claimed.

The former NDC propaganda secretary said the NPP over the years has only gained notoriety in talking and making needless noise just like empty barrels.

“While the NPP talks, the NDC does….they talk and we do”. He said

He challenged the NPP to prove what it did in terms of accommodation within its 8-year rule urging Ghanaians not to believe in the NPP because they cannot deliver on their promises describing them as mere talk shops.

“Don’t believe the NPP when they claim they can implement some of their promises. NDC has the track record of honoring their promises they give”, he concluded.
