NPP needs a major overhaul – Jumah

Former Member of Parliament for Asokwa constituency, Maxwell Kofi Jumah, has called on the rank and file of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to unite in order to enhance the progress of the party.

He advised the members to do away with factionalism within the party and ensure that the party’s interest overrides personal egos.

“We should be united…You should love the party more than the individuals.”

Speaking on Oman FM, Mr. Kofi Jumah professed his total confidence in the NPP, stressing that he cherishes the party ” more than Nana Akufo-Addo one thousand times and I also love NPP more than Alan Kyeremateng one thousand times. I don’t care about none of them. If we place NPP there, I will choose NPP. If you like, stop joining the party today; I won’t greet you when I see you.”

He, therefore, emphasized that the NPP must undergo major changes so as to strengthen its frontiers to become a formidable force.

“I’m behind the one that the party will elect one thousand percent. I’m behind not just because I like you, but for the sake of the party… NPP needs a major overhaul,” he said.
