NPP must be dissolved – Fred Agbenyo

“If Ghana will develop, if Ghana will move forward, if Ghana will be a nation that must benefit all of us, it will be necessary that with conscious effort, the Dankwa Busia tradition must be abolished”. That is according to Fred Agbenyo, a member of the ruling NDC’s communications team.

According to him, Ghana will not experience growth and development unless the Danquah-Busia Tradition (NPP) is abolished.

Speaking on Adom TV’s morning show, BADWAM, on Multi TV, Fred Agbenyo accused the NPP of not having the good of the country at heart since it has rejected all the developmental ideas projected by the Nkrumah administration for the country’s development.

In a heated exchange, a member of the NPP’s Communications team, Emmanuel Asigri who was also on the show said the NDC has lost focus. He accused the NDC of being part of a grand design to destroy the Convention People’s Party.

His comments however drew a sharp response from Mr. Agbenyo who in turn accused the NPP of orchestrating the fall of the Nkrumah-led CPP administration thus killing the CPP’s dreams of making Ghana a better place for all.

The two however wished the CPP the best of luck with its weekend congress and urged that the party uses the congress to foster unity.
