NPP mourns with Ga people

Accra, July 15, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has received with sadness news of the death of the Ga Mantse, Nii Amugi II, at the age of 65.

A statement signed by Mr Edmund Annan, the Acting General Secretary in Accra on Friday said by the death of Nii Amugi, the Ga people in particular and Ghana in general, have been robbed of a good-natured Paramount Chief whose determination to see his area of authority develop in peace won him the admiration of both Gas and non Gas. “The Chairman, Acting General Secretary and the entire membership of the NPP extend their heart-felt condolences to the Gas, the Ga Traditional Council and the bereaved family.” July 15 05
