NPP is destructive – Alban Bagbin

Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin has described the elephant as a destructive animal and urged Ghanaians not to associate with it, in subtle reference to the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), which uses the elephant as its emblem.

Mr. Bagbin made the comment when he addressed the people of Tamale during the campaign launch of Tamale South Member of Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu.

Mr. Bagbin told the crowd that: “God told us that when you have an umbrella, you are looking for protection, you are looking for unity, you are looking for care and you are looking for love, but when you have an elephant you are looking for destruction, that is why seven elephants were going to destroy the holy Kaba, so the elephant is for destruction and that is why I am happy you are not part of destruction”.
