NPP holds orientation for its activists at UCEW-K

Kumasi, Sept 7, GNA 96 An orientation ceremony for fresh students and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wing of the Kumasi Campus of the University of Education Winneba (UCEW), has been held in Kumasi. Speaking at the ceremony, Madam Josephine Hilda Addo, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso, urged the members to go out and explain the prudent and pragmatic policies of the government which had ensured a remarkable achievement in the last six years.

She urged the students not to be distracted by the utterances the government’s detractors adding that they should rather but forge ahead in unity for another resounding victory in 2008.

Madam Addo said the continued silence by the Presidency on recent attacks against it does not mean that it was weak.

In a welcoming address, Mr Martin Rich Yeboah Mills, President of the UCEW-K branch of the NPP, said Ghana through could now boast of a good number of development projects through the works of the NPP. He urged the members to support the Party to enable it to grow.
