Accra, Nov. 2, GNA – A three-day National Annual Delegates’ Conference for the election of National Officers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) opens at the University of Ghana, Legon on December 16, 2005.
The positions to be contested for are: National Chairman; First Vice Chairman; Second Vice Chairman; Third Vice Chairman; General Secretary, National Treasurer, National Organizer, National Women’s Organiser and National Youth Organizer. A statement Mr Eddie Agyeman signed for the Press Secretary of the Party said aspiring candidates should collect nomination forms from the office of the General Secretary at the National Headquarters, Accra and pay a fee of two million cedis at the time of filing. Nominations, which opened at 0800 hours on November 1, would close on November 10, 2005, the statement said.
