NPP hold peace vigil in Koforidua today

The opposition New Patriotic Party(NPP) has declared a 21-day period of fasting and prayers towards peace in the December polls.

The programme which will begin on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Koforidua Jackson Park in the Eastern region is under the theme “The battle is the Lord’s; declaration towards victory and the peace of Ghana.”

The vigil will start from Wednesday 6:00 pm to Thursday.

Party stalwarts expected to grace the occasion include the presidential nominee of NPP Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo who is currently on a campaign tour in the region, the regional Chairman Kingston Kissi, Members of Parliament (MPs), party executives among others.
