General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, has weighed in on the debate after Dr. Sekou Nkrumah had alleged on Okay FM that the NPP has hatched plans to make blood flow if the Supreme Court rule in favour of the National Democratic Congress.
Speaking on the same medium, Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie debunked the allegations and revealed that should the court declare President Mahama as the winner of the 2012 elections, the NPP would respect the verdict and continue to give him the needed support he needs to run a successful government.
He noted that if indeed the party had any intention to create mayhem in the country, they would have done so after the elections.
“If we wanted to make blood flow, we could have done it immediately the elections were over”, he said.
