NPP flags to fly at half-mast for Ala Adjetey

Accra, Oct. 9, GNA – The National Executive Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has directed that flags at the party’s offices should fly at half-mast on Friday in honour of the late Mr. Peter Ala Adjetey, former chairman of the party, who would be buried during the day.

Mr. Adjetey, who was also the former Speaker of Parliament, would be buried after a funeral service at the forecourt of the State House. A statement signed by Peter Mac Manu, NPP National Chairman, said all party offices should be closed and all campaign and electoral activities suspended during the day.
