NPP elects constituency executives in Takoradi

Takoradi Nov. 9, GNA – Mr Kojo Acquah, Western Regional organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), on Saturday called on members and sympathisers of the party to forge unity of purpose to ensure electoral victory in 2012.

Speaking at a delegates’ conference of the Takoradi Constituency of the NPP, he said without unity the party would not be able to wrest power from the National Democratic Congress.

Mr Frank Etti was elected the Constituency Chairman in the election supervised by the Electoral Commission.

Mr Ibrahim Mohammed, was elected as the First Vice Chairman and Mr Francis Wiabo, was elected unopposed as the Second Vice Chairman. Mr Isaac Kyeremeh was elected as the Youth Organiser, Mr Obuobi Amponsah, Treasurer, Ms Sawda Abdulai, Women Organiser, Mr Mustapha Mohammed, Organiser, Mr Ofosuhene Debrah, Secretary and Mr Eric Asante, Assistant Secretary.

Mr Etti said the constituency executives would commence the campaign for Election 2012 election.
