NPP elders are disconnected from reality – Kofi Wayo

The founder of the United Renaissance Party(URP), Mr. Kofi Wayo has acerbically tongue lashed the elders of the New Patriotic Party(NPP); claiming that there is a “complete disconnect” between them and “reality”.

“There is a complete disconnect between the hierarchy of the NPP and reality”, he said.

In the face of the NPP’s claim that the NDC connived with the Electoral Commission to rig the 2012 general elections and are heading to the court to seek redress, Kofi Wayo stated that he is fully convinced that President John Mahama clearly won the Presidential election.

“The NPP guys I know them…they are not rational people; they think they know everything”, he added.

Mr. Wayo in his submission also noted that he had worked with the big whips in the New Patriotic Party and knows them to be “braggarts” who throw their weight about claiming they are “lawyers and have degrees” and on top of it, give credence to the positions their fathers occupied in the past.

In an evening interview with Mr. Asempa on Prime FM, the maverick politician pointed out that anytime a member of the NPP tried to be real, the others isolated him. He cited Mr. Wereko Brobbey’s case as an example to buttress his point.

“They have an agenda to make money out of the people. If you don’t agree, they attack you…you see Wereko Brobbey, nobody is saying let’s listen to what this guy is saying”, he stated.

Mr. Wayo maintained that: “I know them and I campaigned with them in 1998, 1999 and 2000…I know Kufuor very well. None of them believe in the truth.

The moment you try to challenge them…once their own people come out to tell the little truth, they isolate them right away. They are not interested in reality”,he told Prime Fm.
