NPP Communicator: Tsatsu Tsikata will sink the NDC

A member of the communication team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Asante Yeboah, has stated that, in an attempt to destroy the evidence of the petitioners by Tsatsu Tsikata in his cross-examination, he is rather promoting the evidence before the Supreme Court.

He explained that, in view of these irregularities revealed by Tsatsu Tsikata through his cross-examination, it has buttressed the claim of the petitioners that the 2012 election was engulfed with irregularities; stressing that the declaration by Tsatsu Tsikata that what happened in the 2012 election was an administrative error per extension means that President Mahama is in power through the same erroneous means.

Speaking on Okay FM, he said the NDC lawyers have adopted a strategy to delay and prolong the court case by asking questions which are irrelevant to the case in court; reiterating that, Tsatsu Tsikata has consistently rained insults on the counsel for the petitioners, and the chief witness in the box; in frustration of not getting the kind of answers he is expecting.

According to the NPP communicator, the arrogant stance of Tsatsu Tsikata in court is reducing his credibility; as he keeps challenging every decision of the judges.

He, however, said that the petitioners have demonstrated that they obey the rule of law, and this is why the petitioners have complied with whatever ruling the court came up with concerning the further and better particulars the court ordered.

He debunked the notion of many people that Tsatsu Tsikata is doing well with his cross examination as to him he is wasting time to cross-examine Dr. Bawumia over the 704 rejected evidence which the petitioners have denounced.

He said the strategy of Tsatsu Tsikata is rather sinking the chance of NDC while he is projecting the claim of the NPP petitioners that there were irregularities in the 2012 election and the court must annul the affected polling stations.
