Accra, Aug. 7, GNA – The atmosphere at Efua Sutherland Children’s Park in Accra is calm and preparations are on-going for the collation of results of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer election.
A visit to the place by the Ghana News Agency (GNA) an hour before the close of voting on Saturday showed heavy police presence in the area.
The Park is decorated with the party paraphernalia and colours of red, white and blue and with a Public Address system in place. Lights were also being provided for visibility.
