NPP collapsed my business – IPP flagbearer

The flagbearer of the Independent Peoples Party Kofi Akpaloo is accusing the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) of collapsing his businesses.

The businessman indicates that his establishments were targeted and witch -hunted by the NPP after he contested the parliamentary seat of the Manhyia constituency in 2004 as an independent candidate.

Making the wild accusations Thursday on Ultimate fact file, he claimed the NPP sponsored some media campaigns to cause a run on his financial institution.

“When I ran my own businesses I had over 250 employees, some are functioning, others are all because the NPP collapsed my businesses when I contested Addo Kuffour at Manhyia constituency in 2004, just after that they destroyed everything I had, they did that, when I was running financial services they incited people to collect their monies,… when depositors ask for their monies can you collect all the loans given out.

They sat on radio to incite people, they deliberately did that to collapse my businesses, Bobie Ansah formerly of Hello FM, Kofi Diakwa of Luv FM these are the people they used to sabotage me,” he alleged.

Mr. Akpaloo has also took it hard on the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) labelling the current government as living in a dilution of electoral victory.

‘The situation in Ghana now is very tough, if anybody sits somewhere and say that the country is rosy of something like that, he doesn’t know what he is talking about, Ghana, people are experiencing hard times, National Democratic Congress (NDC), they are deceiving themselves,’ he asserted.
