Accra, Dec. 19, GNA – The newly elected Executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday expressed gratitude to the rank and file of the Party for their successful conference over the weekend and promised to work hard to meet their expectations.
A statement signed by Mr Peter Mac Manu, newly elected chairman, stated: “On behalf of the newly elected Executives of the New Patriotic Party and on my own behalf, I wish to express my appreciation to his Excellency President J. A. Kufuor, Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama, Ministers of State, Members of Parliament, delegates and all loyal NPP members, who graced our highly successful three-day conference over the weekend.
“I take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Executives of our Party for their dedication and hard work that have sustained the Party for the past four years.
“I wish to assure all members of our Party that we are aware of the enormous task ahead of us and we promise to work hard to meet their high expectation so that together we can push our Party to the highest level possible,” he said.
