NPP candidate missing in action

Dunkwa-on-offin (Chronicle) — THE NPP parliamentary candidate for Upper Denkyera West Nana Amoako was no where to be found when President Kufuor stormed Dunkwa ?on ?Offin early this week for the campaign. Chronicle was latter told by a close party sources that Nana has since gone back to his based in abroad while other contesting were serious combing from one village to another.

As it has always been in every constituency the president had visited, he introduces the parliamentary candidate of the party to the people for them to vote him and the candidate come december 7.

It was however not the same at Dunkwa on offin when the president toured the upper Denkyira district of the central region on saturday as the party?s parliamentary candidate could not avail himself to be introduced to the electorates.

At a well attended gathering at Dunkwa all what the central regional minister Mr. Isaac Edumadze could give as an excuse of his failure to attend was that he was out of the country.

The big question that needed to be answered now is why he should be away in such acrucial time that the party would need him since the election day is imminent.

It is an indication that he will not stay the town after wining the elections?.

Informtion the chronicle gathered after soliciting the feelings about Nana Amoako after the programme was that the people are now disturbed about the action of the parliamentary candidate.

One Lydia Essuman in said ?brother l dont even know who to for because Nana Amoako might not visit us when l vote for him. Even the has failed to come to Denkyira in the presence of the president , then how how we being just party followers?.

Also, one Brigth Kamkam said ?though the president is telling us to vote for NPP parliamentary candidate in order to gets more representatives in paliament but l am of the view that when l vote for him he might not even get time to go for sitting so l will not in the parliamentary election
