NPP Canada Sends Condolences To The Family of The Late Chairman Adams Mahama

May 25, 2015

Death is always sad and painful to loved ones. But for a death caused by so senseless and barbaric an act as the pouring of acid on a human being, it is particularly painful and heart-wrenching.

We of NPP Canada consider ourselves as part of the family of the late Chairman Adams Mahama. So we console ourselves even as we extend our deepest condolences to the wife, children, siblings, parents and extended family members of our late Chairman. We also extend our condolences to the entire NPP fraternity.

NPP Canada hereby gives the assurance that it will be making a donation towards the funeral and general upkeep of the wife and children.

It is the hope of NPP-Canada that the police, working in conjunction with the judicial system, will act diligently and with dispatch to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The death of Chairman Adams Mahama will never and must never be in vain. The death of Chairman Mahama must be made to sound the death knell on electoral violence, acid-related crimes, and ineffective, lax or non-existent controls around the sale and handling of dangerous drugs and chemicals in the Ghana. Accordingly, NPP-Canada calls on the government to act swiftly and decisively to end the growing menace of acid-related crimes and acid-causing bodily deformities in Ghana.

NPP Canada further gives the assurance that it will do whatever it can to make an NPP Victory in 2016 a reality. This will give further meaning to the wishes of Chairman Adams Mahama for his beloved NPP.

Chairman, we salute you for a life well-lived and a battle so gallantly fought.
May you Rest In Peace.

Signed: Kwame Abrefah
Chairman, NPP Canada
