Wa, Dec. 23, GNA – Mr. Abu Ibrahim Tamaa, Upper West Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has said the position of Secretary was the nerve centre of all executive positions in the Party and should not be entrusted to people who would use it to do part time service to the party.
Spelling out his vision in his bid to get re-elected at a news conference at Wa on Tuesday, he said the Secretary is the face of the party who must present it at all levels and lead in forging closer links with leadership of other political parties who may rally to support it during run-offs.
He said his ability to bring every party supporter on board to campaign for victory in 2012 was not questionable, judging from his tenure as secretary and promised to do better if his mandate is renewed.
