The wife of NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has called on northerners and residents of Zongo communities to return the love and respect shown to them by the flagbearer of the party, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo by voting massively for the party comes December 7.
According to Mrs. Bawumia, Nana Addo has consistently shown his love for Zongo and northerners by sticking to her husband for three consecutive times and believes it is only fair for voters of Zongo and northern descent to return the favour.
Addressing separate mamoth rallies at Moshie Payin, Samso in the Sekyere Afram Plains as well as Odumase and Konongo Zongos, Mrs. Bawumia observed that apart from choosing a northern running mate, Nana Addo has additionally demonstrated his commitment towards Zongo indigenes by proposing specific policies that will transform the socioeconomic livelihood of the people.
With loud applauses greeting her arrivals and speeches, the wife of the NPP running mate chastised the NDC government, both past and present, for giving Zongo communities a raw deal.
“NDC consitently claims to be friends of Zongo and northern communities but these have been nothing short of a fallacy. They have not introduced just a single policy fto help Zongo communities except to engage in dirty propaganda and lies” she noted.
Mrs. Bawumia also debunked the propaganda of the NDC that Nana Addo will chase Zongo indigenes out of the country, describing it as outrageus.
