Northern Region NDC launches campaign on September 24

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has scheduled Saturday September 24, 2016 for its regional campaign launch in the Nanumba North District.

In a statement issued and signed by the Regional Youth Organizer Mohammed Aminu Adam, it revealed that the event will be held at the Bimbila market square and will be preceded by activities including; a blood donation and clean up exercise at Bimbila Hospital on Friday, NDC regional leadership join Moslems for Friday prayers in Bimbila central mosque, Health walk/ street carnival in Bimbila township and a Regional Rally and campaign launch for election 2016.

The 15-member Northern Regional Campaign task force is led by Minister of Food and Agriculture Alhaji Mohammed Muniru-Limuna which is promising to win back all seats it lost to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2012.

The team includes the NDC regional Chairman, chief Sofo Awudu Azorka, the regional Minister, Abdallah Abubakari, the regional Secretary, Lawyer Halid Abdul-Rauf, the regional Director of elections, Tanko Rashid alias computer, the regional Organizer, Wumbei A. Godfred, the regional women’s Organizer, Madam Olivia Hawa Yahaya are members.

The rest are Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Inusah Fuseini, the NDC regional communication Officer, Abdul-Mumin Alhassan Fuseini, the regional youth Organizer, Alhaji Mohammed Adam Amin Abio, a representative of all northern MMDCEs, David Wuni, a representative of NDC northern MPs caucus, Hon. Bukari Ninkpe, Hajia Fati Forgor and Hajia Mumuni Memunatu Dela.
