The Executive Board, Chapter Executives, members and sympathizers of NDC in North America, congratulate the Hon. John Dramani Mahama, Member of Parliament for Bole/Bamboi, on his selection as Vice Presidential candidate to Prof. J.E.A. Mills.
His choice, which was a unanimous decision of both Prof. J.E.A. Mills and the NEC (National Executive Committee) of NDC is testimony to the great support and admiration Hon. Mahama enjoys within his party.
The choice is also an affirmation that the NDC listens to and respects popular opinion of its teeming supporters and the majority of Ghanaians, both at home and abroad.
John, as his peers call him, has been a great asset not only to the NDC, but to Ghana as a whole. Through mature and incisive contributions to debates and committee work in Parliament, and as a performing minister during the NDC administration, the Honourable Member has proved to even rivals that politics can be a decent and honest vocation.
As running mate to a very competent, well-respected, honest, intelligent, yet humble presidential candidate in the person of Prof. J.E.A. Mills, the NDC is ready to give the best leadership in contemporary Ghanaian politics.
