Non-Formal Education Facilitators awarded

Atimpoku (E/R), April 21, GNA – Facilitators of the Non-Formal Education Unit of the Ministry of Education and Sports in the Asuogyaman District have been rewarded after completing 21-month cycle of work. They taught their students to read and write Twi, Ewe and Dangbe and numeracy.

The Facilitators, who formed the eighth batch, were presented with bundles of roofing sheet and sewing machines. Making the presentation at Atimpoku, the District Director of the Unit, Mr Kingsley Obeng Agyare praised the recipients for their sense of voluntarism and the good work done.

Meanwhile, the 11th batch of Facilitators has been recruited for a two-week workshop at Akropong to prepare them to teach the next group of learners.
