No more surgery at “37”

The Surgical Department at the 37 Military Hospital has been closed down since the beginning of last month.

Investigations have revealed that the closure came about because the hospital has run short of some key doctors and nurses.

According to the sources, if immediate steps are not taken to reverse the trend of events with regards to the mass exodus of doctors and nurses, the other departments may also be closed down soon.

The Minister of Defence, Dr. Addo Kufuor, in his maiden visit to the hospital pledged his readiness to make the hospital a first class place, and gave the assurance that he was going to motivate the Doctors and Nurses, for them to stay at post.

The situation is the opposite under him.
