NMC celebrates first anniversary of Sixth Commission

Accra, Nov. 25, GNA – The National Media Commission (NMC) will on Tuesday celebrate the first anniversary of the Sixth Commission. A statement issued in Accra by Mr George Sarpong, Executive Secretary of the NMC, said the theme for the celebration is, “A Free and Responsible Media: Some Reflections.”

It said the World Bank country representative would make a statement while the chairman of the NMC, Mr Kabral Blay-Amihere, would deliver a speech on “2001 in Retrospect.”

Mr Anthony Akoto-Ampaw, Member and Chairman of the Legal and Free Expression Committee of the NMC, would speak on “Emerging Legislative and Policy Issues of Concern.” 25 Nov. 10
