Nkwanta Secondary school appeals for facilities

Nkwanta (V/R), July 4, GNA- Mr Sebastan Kutorb, Headmaster of Nkwanta Secondary School said the strategic position of the school in the district calls for the provision and expansion of its facilities for improved academic work.

He has therefore appealed to the government as a matter of urgency to use part of the GETFUND to provide a dining hall and a teachers residential unit.

Speaking in an interview with the GNA, Mr Kutorb acknowledged that government was undertaking some projects in the school but said overcrowding was exposing the students to risks from communicable diseases.

He said the current situation where many students were packed in one room during meals was also not good for the student’s health and discipline. Mr Kutorb also called on former students of the school to come to the aid of their school.
