Nkwanta gets new District Chief Executive

Nkwanta, Oct 7, GNA – The Nkwanta District Assembly in the Volta Region on Monday endorsed the President’s nominee, Mr Stanley Nana Kofi Inorkpor, as the new District Chief Executive (DCE). Mr Inorkpor, a 60-year-old retired educationist, who polled 40 votes with four abstentions, replaces Mr Samuel Blogodzi, who was relieved of his post recently.

He took the oath of office and secrecy before, Mr Kwasi Owusu-Yeboa, Volta Regional Minister, who cautioned the new DCE to serve the people diligently and not to lord it over them.

Mr Owusu-Yeboa advised him collaborate with assembly members and heads of departments to ensure the rapid development of the area. Mr Inorkpor thanked the President and the Assembly for the trust and confidence reposed in him and pledged to run an open-door administration.
