Nkwaeso MP donates GH¢9,000.00 towards local clinic project

Nkwaeso (B/A) Sept. 30 GNA – Mr Simons Addai, Member of Parliament (= MP) for Techiman South has donated GH¢9,000.00 as his personal contribution towards the construction of a clinic at Nkwaeso in the Constituency. He told a meeting with the chiefs and people at Nkwaeso that the donation was from his share of the National Insurance Fund to help promote health delivery in the area.

The MP who is Sodohene of Krobo near Techiman said the donation was in response to an appeal made by the chiefs and Assembly Member for the area, Mr Abubakar Akumfi-Ameyaw, to the health directorate for assistance to complete the clinic.

Mr Addai advised the people to continue to live in harmony for accelerated development. The MP has provided school uniforms and books to the Seven-Day Adventist and Methodist schools in the community and donated seven bundles roofing sheets towards the community’s library complex. Mr Addai called on parents to take keen interest in the education of their children. He promised to support education in the community with GH¢9,000.00 t= o support a water project.

Mr Raphael Dagoe, Techiman Municipal Director of Ghana Health Services assured the people of adequate personnel to man the clinic after completion= .. Nana Foasi Gyan, Chief of Nkwaeso, thanked the MP for the support.
