Nkusukum Traditional Area to get vocational centre

Akatakyiwa(C/R), May 6, GNA- Gold Coast, a German-based non-governmental organisation is to establish a training centre at Akatakyiwa in the Mfantsiman District to enable the youth in the area to acquire employable skills.

Professor Rainer Vehyl Founder of the NGO had donated equipment worth several millions of cedis to support the setting up of the centre. They include sewing machines, hairdryers, computers, ironing machines and boards.

Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Member of Parliament for Mfantsiman West who inspected the equipment said a computerized mechanic workshop would be set up at Yamoransa to generate employment for the youth. Nana Okese Essandoh VIII, Omanhene of Nkusukum Traditional Area thanked the donors for their kind gesture and urged his people to make both financial and material contributions towards the building of the centre.
