Nkoranza records 16 deaths in road accidents

Nkoranza (B/A), Dec. 31, GNA – A total of fourteen people died through motor accidents in the Nkoranza District between January and December this year.

Mr Rowland K. Osei, district commander of the Ghana Police Service, who disclosed this the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Nkoranza said 24 vehicles were involved in all the road accidents in the district.

He said sixty-one of the accident victims sustained various degrees of injuries.

Mr Osei advised drivers in the district to be extra careful on the roads and must seriously observe all traffic regulations to save life and property during and after the Christmas festivities.
