Nkoranza North NPP elects new executive

Busunya (B/A) June 14, GNA – Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Nkoranza North Constituency at the weekend elected a nine-member Executive at a delegates’ conference at Busunya, near Techiman.

The 72 delegates elected Mr Adu Yaw Abdulai, 54-year-old Zonal Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) as Chairman.

Dr Yaw Kudom, NPP Chairman of Nkoranza Constituency, commended the delegates for the peaceful and orderly manner in which they organised the conference and asked them to maintain the same attitude during the general election.

He tasked the Executive to form Council of Elders to advise them on all matters and also put in place disciplinary and finance committees to facilitate their work.

Mr Kofi Darko, Brong-Ahafo Regional Organiser of NPP, cautioned the youth against alcoholism and other negative practices that could cast a slur on the Party’s image. He urged the Party Executives to be disciplined and to avoid confrontations with Party members.
